Born and bred in Manchester UK and moved over to America after falling in love with my now husband of over 10 years. After much jumping around from hobby to hobby finally found what I love to do...photography. My first digital camera was a Sony FD Mavica with a whopping 1.6 Megapixels and I thought I was the bee knees! I started out taking pictures of my husbands band, which was at the time WISH, they went through a drummer situation and became Etherpool where they played the 9:30 club! after a brief hiatus they finally landed a dependable drummer and reconfigured as WISH (again) ....wait! isn't this meant to be about me? right, ok, ...well I went through a long period a culture shock and British chocolate withdrawal and not having much luck "clicking" with like minded people, (crazy as a mad hatter type) had an attitude adjustment and started networking and met my best friend, who by god is a professional photographer! http://www.jlgould.com .
This just fueled my passion for photography and love of books.
I am a member of the WWF and The Sierra Club as Wildlife, Nature and Domestic animals are a love of mine (have 3 dogs and 3.5 cats one is a kitten becoming a nightmare, I swear to god I think he is part gremlin.
I have acquired a large collection of cameras, digital and manual and it still continues to grow, I am bidding on two on eBay as I type this.
I am huge Stephen King fan and am totally in love with Janet Evanovich's character Stephanie Plum.
With regards to photography I have to say my favorite subject matter is Street/Urban photography and Landscapes.
What I do to bring in the money is work as Insurance Producer for Property and Casualty and Life and Health lines of insurance and have been licensed in Maryland since 2002, I am also a Notary Public for the State of Maryland. I also "self study" psychology.
